Fashion tip

The Dos & Don’ts of Going Bare

Pick a favorite body part to accentuate

Do check out pictures of yourself to see what you want as your signature “reveal.” Think Gwyneth Paltrow’s legs, Michelle Obama’s arms, Scarlett Johansson’s cleavage.

Don’t neglect to balance that reveal with more demure everything else.

Stick with what you’re comfy in
Do know that confidence is the best accessory for bare skin. So…

Don’t wear strapless tops that won’t stay up, or minis that won’t stay down.

Address the undies

Do repeat after me: “I will own at least one strapless or convertible bra that allows me to show off my bare shoulders or back.”

Don’t go for any visible lingerie (unless it’s a special piece that’s meant to be seen). Go strapless, or keep the straps under wraps.

Look at your toes!

Do recognize: Strappy sandals need a pedi.

Don’t ignore my pet peeve area: ashy heels. Moisturize, please!

Know what works for work, especially now

Do consider that you can show off your arms and a bit of leg in the office if the overall effect is sleek, simple and chic.

Don’t think that what goes for night goes for day. It doesn’t.

Keep everything in place

Do move around in teeny clothes when you try them on to make sure nothing falls out.

Don’t forget: Cleavage should be in front, never ever ever in back.
